And Then He Was Three.

23 Feb

AAACK! I am so in love with this boy!  Even though he is the sole reason for my gray hairs, I wouldn’t trade them for anything.  They represent the fun, curious, hilarious personailty this kid possesses.  Just watching him walk across the room makes you laugh.  The Fisherman and I wait to see what is going to come out of his mouth, where we are going to find him, and what he will do next.  You know he is up to something when he says “I’ll be right back.  I gotta’ do something”.

When you entered our world three years ago, you came to us full of life at a whopping 10 pounds {and your mom had no drugs, I just have to throw that in there}.  You have been growing nonstop ever since and living up to your nickname: Biggie. I said it then, I’ll say it now, and I’ll say it everyday of your beautiful life:  You Were Worth The Weight.

All in the name of fun and love.  And now, you makin’ ‘tree.  Such a big deal in a {big} little kid’s world.

xo Biggie.  Make it a great day.

Happy Birthday to your big guy! This post makes me so excited for everything that comes with raising a boy, grey hairs included. And whaaaa, I didn’t know you were also a member of the Ten Pound Boy With No Epidural Club. How cool :)

Not only am I a member, I am the president. Twice. Though, SC was “only” six pounds. We say she skated out with her bags packed. The doctor almost dropped her! SJ was too comfy and true to Cruzan form was late in arrival. Not like it was even an option at JFL Hospital hospital, but I wouldn’t of had it any other way! My body needed to feel that pain to remind me through the years that it was all worth it.

Thanks all for the birthday wishes for sweet Biggie! True to Cruzan form, he is celebrating ALL week long, reminding us everyday when he doesn’t get his way, that “But, its my birthday!” xoxo bfm
